Ipoh, 17 May 2026 - The ISH Sport Carnival 2026 officially kicked off its pickleball segment with a lively and engaging Pickleball Fun Day, bringing together staff from all five sport houses for a morning of fun, learning, and friendly competition.
Held at Botani Sport Hub from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the event saw enthusiastic participation from representatives of PURPLE RAVENS, GREEN ANTLERS, RED PHOENIX, GOLD DRAGON, and BLUE WOLVES, each stepping onto the court to experience the fast-growing sport of pickleball.
A total of five courts were fully booked, allowing continuous play and ensuring that all participants had the opportunity to learn, practice, and enjoy the game. The session was led by the KSR team, with strong support from the energetic gengspital #jeruksantai team, who guided participants through the basics, rules, and gameplay techniques.
Throughout the event, the courts were filled with excitement as players quickly adapted to the sport, engaging in rallies, laughter, and light-hearted matches. Despite many trying pickleball for the first time, the enthusiasm and competitive spirit were clearly visible across all teams.
Beyond the gameplay, the event successfully fostered team bonding and inter-departmental engagement, as colleagues from different sport houses interacted, supported one another, and shared memorable moments together.
The Pickleball Fun Day serves as an important build-up towards the upcoming ISH Sport Carnival Tournament, where teams are expected to return stronger, more confident, and ready to compete.
