The ISH KSR Sport Festival 2026 continued with an exciting Pickleball Tournament organised by Kelab Sukan dan Rekreasi Ipoh Specialist Hospital (KSR ISH) on 13 June 2026.
The tournament was held from 9.30 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. at Ace Space Sport Centre, Pusat Komersial Lang Jaya. It brought together participants from all five ISH sports houses for a day filled with competition, teamwork and sportsmanship.
Before the matches began, the KSR ISH committee conducted a briefing to explain the tournament rules, match arrangements and scoring system. The competition was played using a round-robin format, allowing every sports house to compete against one another.
The tournament was divided into three categories:
Points were awarded based on the overall results of each team encounter. A sports house that achieved three match wins during an encounter received one tournament point.
The round-robin format created an energetic and competitive atmosphere, with every team having an equal opportunity to face their opponents. Throughout the tournament, participants demonstrated excellent teamwork, determination and respect for one another.
In addition to the tournament points, sports house members who attended the event and scanned the official attendance QR code were also awarded participation points. These points will be accumulated and added to their respective sports house’s overall score for the ISH Sport Festival 2026.
After a full day of exciting matches, Gold Dragon emerged as the tournament champion with an impressive total of 10 points. Green Antlers secured second place with seven points, while Purple Ravens finished in third place with five points.
Champion – Gold Dragon: 10 points
Silver – Green Antlers: 7 points
Bronze – Purple Ravens: 5 points
Fourth Place – Red Phoenix: 3 points
Fifth Place – Blue Wolves: 3 points
The tournament concluded successfully in an enjoyable and friendly atmosphere. More than just a competition, the event provided an opportunity for ISH staff to strengthen friendships, practise teamwork and maintain an active and healthy lifestyle.

The Pickleball Tournament is one of the many sporting activities planned under the ISH Sport Festival 2026, which will continue throughout the year. With more events ahead, all sports houses are encouraged to continue participating, supporting their teammates and collecting valuable points towards the overall championship.
